I know, it's frustrating not getting detailed or constant updates about Nicole's pending solo debut.
I'd like to think Nicole's taking her time because she wants to do a good job. There's a lot of pressure for her to do well, from the fans and especially from herself. Nicole doesn't have an awaiting group to go back to if her solo doesn't take off immediately. So if she's taking time to work on her skills and to properly choose a company, it's a positive thing.
Keep in mind that she only left KARA in late January and came back from the US three months ago. It has not been a very long time. She has mentioned working on her vocals in one of her updates at her fansite and is keeping herself in shape while exercising and practicing.
Until then, even if it's just many pictures of her dogs, food, or selcas; be happy that she's updating us at all :)
Well I agree with you. Right now she is in the middle of preparing for her solo debut and as we know Nicole is quite details and perfectionist in term of her performance (dance etc). So I will wait for that moment to come and cheers for her when she decided to do the comeback :)

ReplyDeleteI'm actually very pleased and surprised with the amount of pictures and updates we are getting from her. She posted on fan forums like at least 3 or 4 times since she left KARA to give us small updates. We got a lot of pictures of her and of her dogs. This is great! One more reason to love and support her for keeping in touch with us.

DeleteIt's ok if she's taking awhile in order to fully prepare herself but I still would like more updates that didn't involve her dogs. Maybe her during practice or even just hanging out with her friends. I get excited to see an update and then it'll be about a pup. Well, as long as she's happy.

I'm okay with it but at the same time I'm afraid that if she take it too long, people may forget her or her comeback will not gather people attention..u know..music industry is a bussiness...one day u are shining star but u can be dark moon if you don't know how it play..I'm sory if it hurt anyone..I'm as a fan w a high hope towards her...

DeleteNothing in life is guaranteed, she could come back tomorrow and it won't guarantee a hit.
As fans, we can only support her and trust that she knows what she is doing. As much as we would like her to do very well as a solo artist, it's just one of the many risks she is willing to take in order to fulfill this goal/dream she has for herself.
I wish she would lessen the update on her dog. On instagram her followers has been decreasing from 257k to 256k. People had started to loose interest now.
ReplyDeleteLol, I mean it is her instagram. She can post whatever she wants. She even said she created her hashtags for herself, so whenever she wanted to look at old pictures of her dogs, it'll be easier.
DeleteNicole's not always thinking of portraying some kind of image to fans, to make herself look cooler or more interesting. She leads a pretty normal life and if some people don't find that interesting, that's okay too.
I too am one of the fans that are getting a bit impatient and anxious with her comeback or just some type of update regarding the process. But I agree, she wants to make a comeback with quality and not have criticism against her choice to leave Kara. As of right now, if she is still working with all the people that she has been working with to develop herself as an artist than I don't think we need to worry much, she's in good hands and she's surrounding herself with the right people to push her towards betterment. And the instagram counter... hahaha... I wouldn't even notice if someone didn't point it out. No matter what, after she actually comes back, her number will increase no doubt about it.

DeleteSoloist debut I can wait for, but I wish before that she can go on variety shows again. Remind the public of her dorky cute self. At least I'd like to see her guest on Key's WGM. Guess she won't be debuting during the summer like it was said before since Kara comes back soon and that'd be awkward. She hasn't signed to a company yet has she? She said she'd be the first to let us know. Nicole fighting! We'll keep waiting until u're ready!

Oh I didn't realize she tweeted on the 20th about starting a Once Upon a Time marathon! Even if it's something little like that, glad we got an update. Seems she is getting to relax and watch shows.
